As the water softly laps on the sand
I reach for your heart as I reach for your hand
The beauty of summer reaches it’s height
I think of our first date, that wonderful night
A few years down the road we’re still side by side
You’d stand next to me and become my bride
The little ones who play by the water’s edge below
Remind me of what we said then and what we now know
Life is our story, we’ll write this Legacy
