Kimbra and her family have had a tough year. They lost their Mom early in 2010. I never had the chance to meet her, but I know she must have been a wonderful woman. She raised 3 beautiful daughters who are AMAZING people! Kate, Kimbra and Kara are all so great!

Ron’s family is from Louisiana and were able to come all the way to Texas to attend the wedding. Equally as warm as the Peirce family they invited me down to Louisiana for some alligator hunting! I think I’d be with Joe (Kimbra’s dad) who is willing to go, but on a separate “viewer’s” boat!

You know, although my back is sore and every muscle in my body is letting me know it, I have a smile on my face thinking about those two! I know you guys are going to be so happy together!! Here’s a few of my favs from the wedding (there’s way to many, I know)!

Parie Villyard and the Parie Designs team did a phenomenal job with the wedding design and details. Parie can really bring any wedding to life with her creativity! Season 3 Next Food Network Star contestant Rory Schepisi went to work on some CRAZY wonderful morsels that were both visually appealing and delicious!! Cassy and I love her restaurant, Boot Hill, in Vega, TX. If you haven’t tried it, you should!

The reception was at the Amarillo Museum Of Art. Which, by the way, is one of my new favorite reception venues! Its just so great with the different levels and amazing artwork! I just love it! Cami’s sister Tracy was the Maid of Honor and has such a fun and outgoing personality. She referred to herself as the “MO” all day. I was totally cracking up almost anytime she was around! And dance moves? I can’t even say how perfect T.J. (Cami’s brother) and Tracy pulled off the “Thriller” moves. It was really something to watch! I’ve got some great photographs of David and Cami’s amazing dance moves too! I’ll save the dance move photographs for the private gallery, but here’s a few of my favorite photographs of the day!

One of the best wedding designers lives and works right here in Amarillo. That’s right, Amarillo’s wedding details have been featured in magazines like the Texas Guide to Weddings. Who is this amazing designer? Parie Villyard of Parie Designs.

Tyler Street Weddings was recently graced with Parie’s unique influence when we did a fun vintage style wedding photo shoot. I love what she did with everything from bird houses hung from the trees to using 100 year old doors on saw horses for tables.

My assistant Amber and her husband Matt modeled for me as the “Bride and Groom”. Which was really fun because they had a Vegas wedding when they got married. So a backyard wedding was right up their alley! Here are some photographs from our fun adventure!

Parie at Parie Designs and her team created the most beautiful brunch wedding AND they wore shirts that matched the wedding colors!  They never cease to amaze! Its like the “shock and awe” approach to wedding design. I love every minute of working with them.

Three Falls Cove is an amazing place for an outdoor wedding. I highly recommend talking to Rebecca before booking any other outdoor wedding venue. Its that great.

A Father is someone special. He works to provide for his family. He toils

all day against great odds to create a life better than the one

he knew as a child. When he is not working, he is attending sports games, plays, school events

and doctors appointments. In the evening when all is quiet and little heads are

asleep, his mind is working.  He is answering questions. Do the kids have the right friends?

Are they learning as quickly as they should? Is the college fund big enough? How can

I contribute more? Am I making their childhood memories great? Am I a good Dad?

A Father invests everything into his family.

He smiles inside when he thinks of you. He smiles and says, “it’ll be

alright” when things seem overwhelming. He cherishes who you are, and the

family that you are together. Moms, you and your babies are his Pride and Joy!

Its time that we do something special for these Fathers.
